I’ve never gotten used to wearing beanies or hoodies, it’s one if my winter fashion problems apart from finding the right shoes. I try to tell myself a beanie looks at least a little cute, but in reality I don’t like to look cute and it just messes up the hair. When temperatures are at the lowest, I do give in to the point of wearing a combination of beanie under the hoodie of my down jacket, plus ear-warmers, especially when working outside.

I wonder if a proper hat could be the solution. I’ve always admired a classic Borsalino or Maison Michel as seen on Emmanuelle Alt these winters.
