Hey guys, finally I am back to a new fashionweek season and ready to post lots of street style pictures in the coming weeks. Today was the first day of New York Fashionweek – thankfully I had forgotten how cold last year was, otherwise I might not have come, as exciting as it is to be here, after one hour in the freezing cold it becomes a bit unpleasant and difficult to press the shutter. On the upside, New York is truly stunning when there is fresh snow and shining sun, especially in Central Park where I was on my first day, doing a ‘classic’ New York tour. I also treated myself to a lodging upgrade, no more airbnb couches, rates in february are good enough that I am now at the Sheraton Tribeca and it’s a dream.

So here you go with the first photos. I wanted to post something more understated to start with, most of the colors on the streets are muted, but New Yorkers are very aware of subtle details. I even sneaked a man in there for a change, because really you could see a woman wearing a parker and sneakers the same way as Nickolson Wooster.
