Sydney fashionweek was a bit of a more relaxed set up than the other fashion weeks Im used to, mostly one location at Carriage Works, beautiful sun, less running around and very few and nice photographers.  The setting also allowed me to go a but easier on my ‘work’ outfit, and I pulled out some of my favourite new pieces for summer.

the Céline dress: probably my investment of the year and I do feel a bit crazy about it. I love every color on this knit, its super easy and comfortable, and an investment I am planning to use for years.

The Gucci canvas trousers: this is what happens when you shoot Street Style for a month, you see something and you get obsessed with it. I first saw the  denim version of these pants on Virginia Smith and Jessica Sailer van Lith and just ‘casually’ tried them on at the Gucci store in Milan. They fit perfectly and just had that lose easy thing I was looking for. I am especially crazy about the button details and there is a nice ribbon detail in the back too.

The Céline espadrilles: best shoe purchase for the summer, just the kind of heel comfortable enough to shoot street style in or you know hang around at a seaside cafe.

The Balenciaga canvas bag: I love a canvas bag for summer, and this one has a convenient size and such a classic look.
