or should I call this post Emily Weiss and the Reed Krakoff bag ?

It was probably Emily and Garance in a home story for the Coveteur who made me me aware of these beautiful bags, last year I couldn’t resist buying a Mini Atlantique in warm grey, aubergine and beige. The brand is not that known yet in Europe, which is nice because you rarely see someone else carrying the same bag.

Recently I’ve been searching again for a classic bag for the upcoming season, something classic, that is big enough to carry an extra sweater and a bottle of water.

I’ve been circling around black totes and duffle bags like the Saint Laurent Classic Duffle 6, and the Balenciaga City tote which look amazing in the case of Helena in the previous post. I also wouldn’t mind a Miu Miu tote. They all meet my criteria go being convenient,spacious and timeless. They are not cheap which is why I had a hard time deciding which would be the best investment.

I then came across the Small Track satchel at the Reed Krakoff sale, a very elegant bag but for less than a third of the mentioned ones, so there we go I have a new bag for the upcoming season. Unfortunately deliveries are only to the US, so if you can go make a bargain.
