One of my nicest assignments this year was to photograph architect and designer India Mahdavi at her Paris showroom in 3 rue de las Cases. The environment was so cozy and joyful, mixes of wood, glass, velvet and beautiful colors. While in one showroom you find elegant interiors and furniture, the second showroom carries smaller objects like pillows, cups and baskets. It’s worth a visit when in Paris – also visit the Hotel Thoumieux for lunch or coffee or the Café Francais.

So this would be my inspiration for the Christmas season, since I am less into Christmas decorating and more into home decorating right now.
