The Louis Vuitton silk dresses from Marc Jacobs’ fw 2013 season were some of my favorites. There is something so ultimately sexy about a slip on dress, especially when it is made of silk and lace and reminds you of a lingerie. It feels like a nice piece for colder season, layered with a nice knit or for going out at night.

Joseph makes a really nice simple and perfect  slip dress.

But when shopping for this type of dress it’s hard to overlook La Perla‘s most beautiful satin ‘night dresses’. I wonder, can they be worn outside ? They just seem too beautiful to stay indoors …
